This November 6-10 Master Muralist Jennifer Carrasco will be teaching class at Seattle Architectural Finishing Studio! Students will join us for this 5-day intensive workshop in mural making where they will learn to create gorgeous fresco-like paintings on Marmorino plaster. Students will combine Venetian plaster and Venetian paint techniques to produce at least three beautiful samples of decorative frescos.... one lyrical landscape based on a section of a Roman fresco in Herculaeum, one bas-relief Roman mosaic border applied in a two-step stencil technique, and decorative Roman motifs pounced, then painted in grisaille and glazed on a Marmorino panel.
